The members of the California Arts Council meet throughout the year in various locations in California so as to encourage broad and diverse attendance, with an annual meeting every January. These meetings are open to the public and governed by the Bagley-Keene Open Meeting Act 2004. Meeting minutes are posted once approved by the Council at the following meeting, and meeting agendas are posted no later than ten days prior to the meeting date.
