Official Statements in Support of Arts Education Passed by California Arts Council

Members of the California Arts Council unanimously approved two official statements recently that support instruction of the visual and performing arts education in the classrooms of California's K-12 schools. A proclamation addressing the visual and performing arts throughout California was approved last October, and a resolution addressing concerns about proposed reductions of arts education in the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) was approved on January 26, 2010.
