Voluntary Tax Check Off Arts Fund Surpasses $150,000 Mark

June figures for tax check off voluntary contributions have just been released from the Franchise Tax Board (FTB). We are pleased to announce that the numbers show that contributions to the "Arts Council Fund" now stand at $152,465 with 15,321 donations by state tax filers who double as arts supporters. At $10.61, June's contributions averaged a little more than the year-to-date average. We enthusiastically thank all those who have contributed to advance the arts in California and thank all the arts organizations that have helped the California Arts Council promote this new funding source in our first year of participation.
