Explore Collaborative Learning for Museums in WebinarsCalifornia Association of Museums offers Sept. 26 and 27 webinars - seeks feedback
The way people learn is changing. It's not just a one-way street anymore; it's collaborative. Is the California museum field ready to embrace and model this transformation for museum users? The California Association of Museums (CAM) thinks so.
The Association is in the middle of a one-year collaborative learning project to roll out best understanding on the topic and best practices at its conference next year. Not only are "conversations" on this topic occurring in 12 locations statewide hosted by regional museum service organizations or principal regional museums, but anyone unable to attend in person may join in on one of two webinars, co-sponsored by the California Arts Council, Cal Humanities, Exhibit Envoy as well as CAM.
